Pizza Ovens

Here at Gozney, we offer two different types of home pizza ovens - propane fueled gas ovens and multi-fuel ovens which combine all the benefits of a gas burner with wood fire. While a gas pizza oven heats up quickly, is convenient and ideal for consistent cooking results, a wood-fired pizza oven provides you with the authentic, smokey and rustic cooking experience.

Here at Gozney, we have two types of pizza ovens: Gas ovens and multi-fuel ovens.  For our gas ovens, you can use propane as fuel. For the multi-fuel ovens, you can use both propane and wood. You should only ever use hardwood in your pizza oven. A dry wood works best because it gets your oven hot enough to cook a pizza within minutes. Here at Gozney, we prefer kiln dried hardwood, as it delivers a clean, complete burn and low smoke output while not compromising on smokey wood-fired flavour! You can buy kiln dried hardwood in our accessories shop.

The Gozney pizza ovens are easy to set up and do not require professional assembly. Just follow the instructions that are delivered to you with your pizza oven.

Our Gozney ovens take around 20 - 40 minutes to heat up depending on oven model. Once your pizza oven is ready to use, it can cook a pizza in about 90 seconds. This can vary depending on the model.

Yes, we offer portable pizza ovens. The Gozney Roccbox and Gozney Tread are portable pizza ovens, making it the perfect companion for your outdoor adventures.

A pizza oven is hotter than a regular oven, which allows you to cook a pizza in just a few minutes. The Gozney pizza ovens can reach a maximum temperature of more than 500°C – this can vary depending on the model.

To cook a pizza in your Gozney pizza oven, you will first need to ignite the propane. If you have a multi-fuel oven, you might also want to make a fire in the allotted area. The pizza oven takes about 40 minutes to preheat. Once the oven has reached the maximum temperature, place your topped dough in the pizza oven with a pizza peel and turn every 10 - 20 seconds. We offer pizza ovens in different dimensions. Our smallest model is the Gozney Roccbox, measuring 47.3 x 54 x 41.3 cm and making it the perfect travel companion. The biggest home pizza oven we offer at the moment is the Gozney Dome, measuring 66 x 63 x 73.2 cm.

Gozney pizza ovens are easy to clean - simply ignite the oven and maintain a high temperature for 3 hours to remove any build up of soot and debris. A cleaning instruction for more persistent stains can be found in our Roccbox or Dome cleaning guides.

Our Gozney pizza ovens are all designed to be used outside. However, the Gozney Dome is suitable for use indoors with gas fuel when correctly ventilated to the atmosphere. Always read your local laws and regulations before using a pizza oven inside and ensure you are reading all ventilation instructions delivered with your oven.
